UNA DÉCADA RESCATANDO, RESGUARDANDO, INVESTIGANDO Y DIFUNDIENDO LA HISTORIA DE LA DESEMBOCADURA DEL RÍO DE LAS BALSAS. (1998 – 2008)

En el año de 1998, en las instalaciones de la Feria de Marzo de ciudad Lázaro Cárdenas, tres personas unieron sus esfuerzos para iniciar el rescate, resguardo, investigación y difusión de los datos históricos de la región de la Desembocadura del Río de las Balsas, Costa de Michoacán y la parte colindante de la Costa Grande Guerrero. El señor Martín Salazar Cárdenas, el poeta Mario Osorio Valle y el Prof. César Rubén Adame y Núñez, iniciaron una amistad y afinidad por la investigación histórica, logrando que se les unieran más personas en su trabajo voluntario, legalmente agrupados en la asociación civil “Resguardo Arqueológico de la Costa Michoacana”, el 19 de octubre de 1999 en la Notaría Pública número 63, a cargo del licenciado Rogaciano Morales Reyes. Recalcando muy claro el proyecto de fundar el Museo Comunitario de Lázaro Cárdenas, Michoacán, lugar en donde se cumpliría con los demás objetivos de esta asociación civil. Con los recursos obtenidos gracias a la obtención de varias becas otorgadas por el departamento de Cultura del Estado; con el apoyo económico y material de algunos comerciantes, empresas e integrantes de la sociedad civil y con los recursos propios de los miembros de la asociación civil se ha podido lograr lo siguiente en beneficio de la cultura regional: Puedes leer descargar el libro "Zacatollan, una historia de la desembocadura del Rio de Las Balsas, jamas contada" y leer la revista en el area de descargas (libros).
